Getting There

211 (Conference Registration) and 232 Church Street Parramatta NSW

UNE Sydney, the Sydney Campus of the University of New England, is ideally located right in the heart of Parramatta, at 211 and 232 Church Street, directly across from each other and just a short walk from Parramatta Train Station. Conference Registration will take place at 211. Sydney is a truly wonderful city and you might decide that you want to stay closer to the conference venue in Parramatta or closer to the city centre, the harbour and the iconic opera house.If you are a Postgraduate student, you might want to know that UNE Sydney has a reciprocal agreement with Western Sydney University, located at Rydalmere. It is usually approximately $70/$75 per night for ‘short stay’ accommodation. The accommodation is of a really good standard and the shuttle bus service that the WSU campus operates brings anyone in from their campus and drops them off at their Parramatta city campus in George Street – about a 2 minute walk from where UNE Sydney is.

There is no parking available at UNE Sydney. Street parking in Church Street is metered and very limited;

Horwood Place carpark is directly behind the 232 building but can be costly.

Westfield Parramatta is 2 blocks away with 3 hours free parking.
